About Christine Rose

Christine Rose  has been working  in the areas of Active Support Interactive Training and Positive Behaviour Support for over 10 years.

Christine started work as a support worker in a special residential school for children and young people with a range of intelectual disabilities  over 20 years ago.  She has  worked in adult services supporting people with moderate to severe learning disabilities autism and or mental health and behaviour of concern.

10 years ago Christine concentrated on Active Support and Interactive Training and has supported organisations and individuals to embrace the principles of Active Support across the UK.  She has delivered and managed two highly successful Projects focusing on Active Support and Positive Behaviour Support.  One being a three year project covering services across Wales, funded by the Big Lottery and a more recent project delivered in England, funded by the Department of Health.

Christine founded Active Support Solutions UK LTD (2014)  to further promote Active Support and Interactive training for people with learning disabilities, autism, mental health and dementia.

Christine is currently working  with Local Authorities , Independent and Private organistions, educational settings across the UK through consultancy, coaching and training.    She has also recently become a consultant trainer  for Active Support for the British Institute for Learning Disabilities.
